6 Places An HVAC/R Tech Wouldn’t Be Caught Dead

As an HVAC/R tech, you’ve probably done work in a house or building that sent shivers down the back of your work shirt. Talk about times where you want to get in, get out, and get on to the next job. With that in mind, we thought we’d have a little fun with six houses where you wouldn’t want to be caught dead in.

2. McInteer Villa, Atchison, Kan: Activities reported in this house include: lights in the tower (which has no lighting), ghostly figures in tower windows, footsteps and door slams. Who draws the short straw to go into that tower?

3. Amityville Horror House, Amityville, NY: The house where they filmed Amityville Horror – the movie based off a true story of a haunted house where five people were murdered. Unassuming looks, scary feelings. We’ll pass.
